The Inside Sales position is the primary support individual for the Business Development Manager, and is responsible for prospecting efforts and the general execution of KTI’s marketing plan. The ideal candidate is a good listener, a self-assured communicator and a motivated self-starter who demonstrates an enthusiasm to meet new people. Starting salary is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
Responsibilities:

Requirements:

Holds a college degree in marketing, business communication or general business

Has two years of business to business sales experience (preferred)

Comes from the construction/architecture/engineering industry in sales, communications or marketing (preferred)

Must be fast-paced, goal oriented individual who can provide world-class service to our clients

Is a self-starter, able to take assigned and scheduled tasks and complete successfully with little active management

Is excellent at both verbal and written communication, is comfortable with initiating communications

Has patience: sales cycle can take over a year from initial lead to successful proposal

Is organized, able to prioritize and manage many diverse tasks

Desires critique, feedback and development associated with personal presentation skills

Demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite 2007 (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Microsoft Publisher, Adobe Creative Suite or other common design software

Senior Marketing Coordinator - Kansas City, MO architectural firm
An established and growing architecture firm in Kansas City is looking to round out its creative and highly successful marketing staff by adding a Senior Marketing Coordinator. The entire staff has made a deliberate effort to create and maintain a healthy and vibrant culture that allows people to make a real contribution. The person we’re looking for is a strong writer and editor that can organize and manage multiple projects and levels of information while thinking creatively. Some of the duties and responsibilities include:

Candidates must be proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite programs, as well as Microsoft Office programs. Deltek Vision is a plus, but not required. In return for finding the right person, the salary and benefits are very competitive.
The successful candidate will be working under Daron Bennett, the newly appointed Director of Marketing, supporting the marketing and business development efforts of the Kansas City office.

The successful applicant will have strong graphic abilities and a proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office. Three + years of professional experience is desired, but not necessary for the right candidate.

Proposal Coordinator - Kansas City, MO consulting firm
The Louis Berger Group is an internationally recognized consulting firm that provides engineering, architecture, program and construction management, environmental planning and science, and economic development services. We are currently looking to add a proposal coordinator in our Kansas City office.
Function:
This position will be responsible for the coordination and completion of Proposals, Responses to Requests for Information (RFIs), and other bids to be submitted to customers and prospects, primarily for the planning, facilities and environmental pursuits in US operations.
Qualifications:
